Wedding in Arya Samaj Mandir is simple and short, yet rich in rituals and vibrant. The most important day of your life is made memorable with us. It takes just 2 to 3 hours for the wedding ceremonies to get over and you enter into the new phase of life.
We arrange almost everything for you as we value your time, though you are required to bring 2 Garlands, Sweets, and Mangalsutra, and Sindoor. You are required to reach the venue with documents and witnesses. We make you fulfill all the religious and legal formalities on the same day.
The documents, both bride and groom need to bring includes a birth certificate, and an affidavit stating the date of birth, marital status, and nationality. There should be the presence of at least two witnesses along with their ID proofs for the wedding.
There are a few things to keep in mind such as –
- The groom should be above 21 years of age, and the bride should be 18 years old or more.
- The girl should wear a sober and appreciable dress during the solemnizing ceremony since outfits like jeans, shorts, capris, short skirts, and other odd dresses are not allowed.
- We do not suggest any date for wedding as according to Arya Samaj beliefs all the days are equal and auspicious.
The marriage is fully valid, and you get the marriage certificate on the same day. You can also present the certificate as proof of your wedding in the court of law. The certificate also makes it easier for you to register your marriage in the office of Registration of Marriage in your area.
Wedding in Arya Samaj Mandir is simple but holistic. A priest chants mantras and makes you go through all the rituals with the right method blessing your married life to be happy and long. It can be as modest as to be done in the presence of only two witnesses and as grand as to have hundreds of people to celebrate.
